Christmas Tree Ornaments as Gifts

Making and gifting Christmas ornaments has forever been very popular and still continues to be. With your own creative ideas, you will be able to make different types of decorative ornaments to give as gifts. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

84. Felt ornaments are very easy to make and look very pretty. You can get detailed instructions and templates for making felt ornaments on our website.

85. Buy light bulbs in assorted colors and shapes and paint them using solid or metallic colors or glue glitter.

86. Make scented ornaments using potpourri. Tie lavender, rose, cinnamon spice, pumpkin pie spice, apple cinnamon or any other potpourri of your choice in a square cloth or any pretty handkerchief with a ribbon. This ornament not only looks pretty hanging on the Christmas tree, but also fills the room with a lovely aroma.

87. Make jeweled velvet ornaments by making stuffed ornaments in different shapes from velvet cloth in rich colors and sewing or hot gluing sparkling beads, stones, junk jewelry etc.

88. Wreath ornaments can be made by stringing beads, jingle bells, cotton balls, dried berries and seedheads etc. through a wire and twisting it to form a circle.

89. Dough ornaments are very easy to make. Choose from a variety of dough recipes and make desired shapes out of the prepared dough. Most popular are salt dough and cinnamon-applesauce dough ornaments.
